#Can someone hop in a call with me and just help me with some basics soon?

What kind of basics you thinking?
i would assume simple construction and orbit
Alright, what‘s up? What do ya need?
So its kind of hard to explain but im trying to launch a new ship
but it keeps on burning out and running out of oxigen im pretty sure. ill take a screenshot real quick
Just oxygen, or also liquid fuel?
ah, that's the wrong fuel tank
it's a liquid fuel only fuel tank
you need a liquid fuel/oxidizer fuel tank
damn i might be a bit dense
Try looking for tanks with „FL-T“ in the name
Np I fall for it as well
by the way, that looks like not much fuel for having that many engines, you can definitely add more fuel if you want to
Yep! More fuel, more adventure!
yeah this was just for a lil flight to observe something, im dont have enough researched for orbit yet haha
You probably can get to orbit with the parts you currently have, but if you want it to be easy get the LV-909 Terrier engine (and get heat shields too if you don't have them already)
Plus, use decouplers and staging, for more efficiency.
Nice! Try adding fins to the bottom, because the rocket might flip a lot.
I’ts a really common problem, and fins cure it.
Didn’t you make it to orbit? That’s great!
Like Just_aRandomUser said, use a heat shield on the bottom of the command pod.
eh it will probably be fine

i will on the next model
Gl
also when you are turning to get an orbit go east
Yeah, Kerbin rotates, so it gives you an extra boost.

(heading of 90°)
jebidiah kerman will make it home
so this is the best for orbit?
yup, as kerbin's rotation gives you a boost in speed
Ye, a heading of 90.
okay thank you very much guys
Ur welcome, good luck on your journey!!!

Coming back to this thread, im trying to earn science but im only getting 1 or 2 per experiment
I don’t know how that’s happening. Can you send a few details? When, where, and how you performed the experiment, among anything else you could think of?
so im trying to research temp and goo, but even for new research im only getting 1 or 2 points
im trying to do it in space near kerbin
That’s not supposed to happen. Which difficulty are you on? Are you transmitting instead of recovering?
This is very strange! I don’t know. Maybe give KSP a restart?
the thing is, this has persisted
I dunno. I have never seen something like this.
damn
Sry
youre all good bro dw
Thanks. I hope someone else can help.
that means you have already done that experiment in that situation
the more you do the exact same experiment, the less science you get from it
sometimes it completely stops giving science after the first time
just go farther to get more
or land on another biome
Some experiments are "biome specific" (like an eva report while in "low space"), meaning you can do them in different biomes and they will give you science in all of them.
Some aren't, and they don't care about the biome, only the situation (landed, low atmosphere, low space, etc)
biomes meaning Kerbin's waters, Grasslands, Deserts, Lowlands, Highlands, etc (there are more obviously)
the issue i have though is that i have only just got to orbit for the first time and did my first space goo experiment which still gave me none
did you go suborbital before?
because science doesn't care if you are on orbit or not, only if you were in space
the highest i went before was still not space, the text for it was that the goo was still jiggly and cold i believe, but i have only just did the one in space that says the goo is hard
after you are done with the mission you were doing go to the research center and click on "archives" or something like that (a folder icon in the top left corner)
This is so you can check which experiments you've done before
after that click on kerbin and then on the "in space low" situation
