Lost a ton of progress when redownloading ksp

So i got a new pc recently, and redownloaded ksp 1 and when i went into my main world which has alot of progress and when i went oh and into the sph my ships most of my ships were missing so when i went to load a save all my saves were gone. Then when i tried a different persistent file it still did the same thing
is there anyway to recover my ships and saves?

how did you transferd the saves?

Went into my ksp folder went to the world went ti back ups and changed the persistent file to an older one

Steam sync

Didn't transfer my files over cause last time I did that over steam sync from my laptop to my last pc everything saved just fine

Can you check for the ships folder in your save folder at your old pc to see if there are all ships

I cannot but the ships are in my ksp directory in my save file on this pc. There all there but aren't in game

Most of the ships in-flight or saved once

Ships in flight are fight I believe it's just the saves

And some of the saved ship show up?
Also the savefile is independent from the ships in one saves folder

Like 9 of the 40 I have show up

Thats very strange.
And has every craft in the folder a .craft (file extension), even the crafts which doesn't load?

OH WAIT

For some reas9n the crafts don't have .craft files

the ones that load have the .craft but the ones that dont wont load. but how were they deleted in the first place
