I'm trying to make a simple rockets on sandbox mode but when I try and launch the engine makes a noise and then nothing happens. I don't know why the engine isn't working as it works in the tutorials but in sandbox 99% of the rockets I've made don't fire. Does anyone know why this is happening?

It sounds like the engines are staging correctly if they make a noise, so I'm guessing they have no / the wrong fuel.
There are fuel tanks for aircraft that look basically the same as fuel tanks for rockets, but they only have fuel and no oxidizer, so rocket motors can't use those ones. 😄
