Verify your files, assuming you're using Steam and have a corrupted game.

If you're not in sandbox mode, check that you have unlocked it in the R&D complex.

Launch Steam, then go to library, KSP, but instead of launching the game, click options (the gear icon), a menu will popup, search inside something like file integrity or file validation
