#If rigitity is needed to change in the files per the community, it should be changed by default.

I'm not going to change files. If the game is in early access, and devs actually want feedback on the game AS IS, then it should be changed on their end.
How do I make it so there's no wobbly rocket
you can find it in #1074830191769178212
Your lack of understanding of the consequences of changing that does not make it simple.
Alrighty, can you explain?
What are the consequences?
because all i see when i complain about it, i just see, "oh you just need to change the rigitity", I refuse because I don't think i should need to.
Can't find it
Hello guys, girls and kerbals, I don't know where it originated or who found out about it, but I saw it in Twitch Chat. The following isn't a Mod itself, but more a workaround or bandaid. All you need to do is edit a .json file, which can be done with the barebones editor which comes with windows...
Putting this on the mod community is eggregious
Yes
I'm one of those people that dont want to use mods. I understand they can help, but I was worried that the developers would use the mod community as a CRUTCH and I'm getting really worried that I'm correct.
If I'm going to be giving feedback on an early release game, then i cannot be using mods or editing files. It's as simple as that. I shouldnt NEED to install mods.
My rocket designs are reasonable and keeping wobble in mind and I haven't done anything except to duna and eve, but for super heavy lifters and whatnot, i will end up needing rigitity. Not sure how we're supposed to make interstellar vehicles constructed in space without the ability to strut in EVA or having some rigitity improvements.
According to the devs the issue wasn't overall joint rigidity but the fact that engine plates weren't as rigid as most parts.
they should remove the joint physics. More perf and no annoying wobble
I don't know how to even use engine plates
nobody's made a rigiTITY joke yet?
what?
On a serious note, I agree with OP about not changing files, just to play now, when the whole point is to take what they've got and let them know where to go from there.
Thanks for backing me up on that haha
