when trying to place a piece using mirror mode the mirrored piece is in the same orientation as the original piece, not really sure how else to describe it. this is on a fresh install with a fresh install of mods, which are as follows; (see .txt file)
running ksp steam version 1.12.5.3190 and ckan 1.31.2

is it the same when you use radial symmetry?

one screen shot shows radial mode, radial is normal, but will cause other issues if I use it in-place of mirror mode

Sorry I can't be of any help, but I've got the same issue since a couple of days.
Impossible to properly build wings now..
I have many mods that you have as well so I'm not sure what's causing the issue :/
My only hope is that the problematic mod gets updated soon

I did install infernal robotics pretty recently, I hope removing it will fix the problem (for now).. I'll see tonight, thanks!

Confirmed IR - Next v3.1.9 breaks mirror symmetry in SPH/VAB, downgrading to 3.1.8 avoids the problem for now
