You can put a flag on a command pod (Confirmed all parts, but I think it's a feature !) when you're in the ocean. Afterwards, the Kerbal is stuck (it remains stuck without being able to free itself from the pod) until we recover the piece from the space center 🙂

Thanks devs for all your work and future updates ! ❤️

I understand that they need time, but the game has been in development for 6-7 years now and it is unoptimized and needs top of the line hardware to run. Not to mention the amount of problems I have already encountered with bugs. It seems like they went backwards from KSP 1 almost throwing out old parts of the game that already worked. I guess only time will tell, and we will have to see what comes with the next few updates.

I don't understand how you would need more time after "working on it" for 5+ years.

3 years, the covid, the change of studio (thanks T2..) And the fact that it uses the new technology of Unity, which means that they could not take (all) the code from KSP 1 line for line and they probably had to start a lot of things from zero..

I understand the concerns, but they are aware of all this and I think they will do us something good with time!

KSP 1 at its beginning was catastrophic.. Almost much worse than that..

they have loooottttt of job, they know it, but taking them down isn't going to make things go any faster..

Thanks for you opinion !

( Go watching Matt Lowne interview from ESA event, you will see what i try to say )

Well, I just hope they take all the user feedback and build a solid game out of it.

#

They really should focus right now on creating a mostly solid base for the game and then following the roadmap for science mode, multiplayer etc.

I hope so too, KSP is the game that has clearly changed my life, that gave birth to my passions and the only one that gives me such a level of emotion! It deserves a worthy sequel and I think they will get there! But it's going to take time, it's a fact, now that the game is out, feedback is going to change the game (Since most of the functionality is coded in-house) and most importantly, they're going to prioritize the demand for stability and bug fixes from people before features.

The devs have a lot of work to do for the first couple patches, I mean where do you start with this stuff? There is so many issues it seems like.

#

(At least judging from the bug reports)

Sure ! Please, watch this :

I had the same questions as you, it really reassured me

Just one more day until launch everyone! For today's KSP 2 video, I sit down with creative director Nate Simpson and senior designer Chris Adderley to ask some questions about what they're most excited about, what features they wish could be ready sooner, and Nate gives us lots of information about how colonies and multiplayer will work! Rest as...

I think we can all agree on that.
