#HOTAS not supported???

Use of a HOTAS controller is currently bugged and will be enabled in a future build.
far future or near future, its not mentioned in the roadmap ? I´m a bit dissapointed about this.
Same, it's making airplane flight so much harder
in the meantime I mapped my axis to button commands via Joy2Key. Not as good as full axis support but better than nothing for now. Sad that this basic feature didnt work from the get go but I encourage the team to make it work 🙂
yeah i mapped it with Joystick Gremlin, but Throttle isn´t nice with it. But its playable
Not sure how Joystick Gremlin handles mapping axes to the keyboard, but in CH Control Manager it works pretty well if I bind the throttle to LShift/LCtrl with sixteen steps mapped over the range of the throttle position. I also bound two buttons on the throttle to quickly take it to full/no throttle in case the game gets out of alignment with the controller position.
the standard keyboard is barely supported at times it seems (with Spacebar intermittently failing to stage and roll, yaw, and pitch that stop working as well), I wouldnt hold my breath 😛
My Joystick doesnt work with this, and there is no axis settings at al..... in a space flight game.....????? wtf?
see the post from the devs above. At the moment it is bugged thats why it is not in yet but will come at a later stage. JoytoKey is maybe an option for you to map your axis to buttons and switches to buttons 🙂
yeah i find it amazing that a space flight sim doesnt have basic joy support, thats just ridiculous. Mapping the keyboard is a horrible solution. Thanks for the message though
