#credit card 3d authentification status meaning

Hey. In the dashboard under payments for creditcard i can see the 3d secure authentification status for each individual payment. when the creditcard payment was succesful but the authentification says: 3D Secure authentification - contested ... does that mean

  1. The customer has contested the payment afterwards or
  2. the customer was contested during the authentification process to do further validation

Would be useful to know 🙂 I assume its 2. tho

Hi, I think that means the customer was challenged, ie. requested to actively do whichever 2FA method their bank has. I think we should revise the translation there.

To be extra sure, can you share the affected tr_ ID, please?

I think that means the customer was challenged too. I think it specifically means that there was further 3d authentification necesarry from customer side, but as long as the payment is "paid", everything went fine.
