I haven't been able to track down the exact cause but I am getting a repeated CTDs when killing a certain boss. Couldn't find the name on the wiki but it's the one that shoots back at you in the Chaos Grove.
It's happened to me 4 times now and my best guess is that it has something to do with the new stock that collects things when you kill with special damage when used by the drone. As 2 of the times it crashed it looked like the kill reward was collected towards the drone instead of the player and then it instantly crashed.
The drone gun was the same in 3 of the CTDs and the final one was using a different gun with the same stock leading to my suspicion that it may be the cause. I haven't had any issues in any of the recent runs where the drone wasn't using that stock but I can't 100% say that it is the cause.
Not sure if crashes are logged but if you want to have a look at my save data/logs just let me know the location
