They are not marked on the map. To get the resources you have to spawn the final boss in an area there the enemys have lots of horns.
For the wood you have to fight the final boss(Malphor with star) in the green biom. (Should be the bioms around spawn 5,6,7,8)
For the orb (its purple in game now) you have to fight the final boss(titannus with star) in the yellow brown biom (Spawns 3, 9, 10)

Personally I am aware of this zone and feel like it should not be on the "full" map, but when we set up an interactive map where you can toggle things on and off, we can have a toggle that spoils the surprise.

This screenshot (first) is relevant to your question. The trouble is, the gene will not appear here until you destroy it's original capsule holder. So there is a different location to hit first. Given draketurtles collection of screenshots and the green arrow in a few of them, I guess the first location is somewhere here (see map). But I am not sure about this because I haven't been there myself, nor seen any pictures of the gene capsule holder's location.

I highly suspect it is in the twisted tangle maze

probably there is a branch you didn't visit but the map revealed that section as you were going through a neighboring path

The thing to get destroyed happens off screen for me more often than not, so I have a hard time pinpointing it for people. I just suddenly get a green arrow out of the blue.

Yes, @placid abyss, we need to fix other numbers about drone unlocks as well. I don't know if you want to change the numbers on the map or the legend sheet (at least one of the 3s will have to change on the map)

• The drone 'no.3' to the left in the maze is actually Target Strongest
• Drone no. 2 on the map is actually Movement: Wacko
• Target Strongest is missing from the map - I think it's in the first area

This is a good idea, but we don't have pin permissions. We could request a pin, but I'm not sure we want to request over and over whenever we update. Maybe when it is basically completed we will get a pin and then hopefully only have to update it occasionally. We had Tesla Charges on 17 as well, which may have been where the confusion came in

17 is actually Piercing Bolts - the other tier3 energy blaster. Just fixed it Edit: nvm, "unfixed" that

Use the pistol for faster augment gain.
If available use blackout and rerole drop pods
try to get guarded grip, weighted stock, and heart charm. Last one tier 2
set the drone on armor share and weakest target or try it without a drone.
try to find some heal items before the fight, but dont pick them up.

Not yet, but that's a great suggestion. What we'd need is either someone willing to take and mark the map with all the turrets or a series of screenshots with the spot where the turret is.

If possible in the steam guide could you label the genes and augments by name to make locating and collecting them easier by comparing to what you already have for example instead of 1.1 and 1.2 as start and end for genes the actual name of the gene for 1.1

I was missing one single gene, ended up starting in the complete bottom left of the map and worked my way up to find it was really far up there... cuz I didn't have a name to reference...

Also, the Guide I put the table under the map, it’s still not perfectly convenient, but it’s a bit easier than having to open a separate tab, I think. Like kirtash said, I feel like trying to jam the names of the genes in the tiny spots might end up harder to read.

Might also change the drop pod color, since I can’t read the numbers on the map without zooming in a lot. I’m thinking pink might stand out more. Almost tempted to try and mark the drop pod parts, too, since when I ran into one the first time, I had no clue what it was or what to do with it. But I didn’t screenshot the parts for the one I successfully repaired. It was definitely easier when I found the repair site first, haha.

Correct. I hesitated to add it to the map at first because it was pretty newly discovered at that time and I didn't want to spoil it for anyone who wanted to be surprised. But maybe in the next iteration of the map we can include it.

There is at least one other unlock elsewhere on the map that moved in this update (0.4.11), so I wouldn't be surprised if some others have moved as well. It will be a trick to keep up with these changes. Thank you very much for letting us know which ones were absent!

When will the newly updated fullmap come out? I'm missing 2 plans and I've checked most of the blueprint locations on the fullmap the past 5hrs. Which ones are these?

I think these are mad science and one of the jetstock final upgrades, but can't seem to find them in the map legend or fullmap

Check 47 is a bit of a longer walk from a drop zone and it's a bit harder - may even be a little section over by 47 that you haven't explored yet.

Fair. For the augments you can look here: https://nimrods.wiki.gg/wiki/Category:Augments. Pick the slot on the gun and compare all the images to the silhouette and narrow it down and that'll give you the name of the augment.

👍 Ok, so Hp Regen is not where the map says anymore - that one is confirmed as having moved. I think it's straight south following the road from the first drop zone. You can multi-task in the same run as the number 5 augment. After you blow up the container, the green arrow will lead you straight back north to the starting point, so you can turn around and head back up after grabbing the one at #5.

Hm. There's a lot of questions in that one post. I see three things you're hoping to get help with.

• If there's a specific mission/achievement you're hunting, feel free to describe it in #general-chat . Lots of people are willing to offer advice and sometimes a simple strategy change can change something that feels impossible into relatively simple.
• Optimising genes actually isn't all that important - just using anything will help as long as it isn't negated by your build. (Like don't take underbarrel recharge if you don't plan on using much underbarrel; Reload speed is excellent, but don't fill all your slots with tons of reload speed if you plan on going for the infinite ammo belt or if you're gonna have a huge mag size and barely ever reload; Rate of Fire is very good, but if you know you're gonna hit cap anyway, don't fill all your slots with it; etc.
• The tech module: containment field is definitely mvp for resource gain, but there are other options. I'd recommend trying to build around the cryo mag tier4 that drops random resources.

Decided to pick up Tier 4 Bottom Path Energy Blaster and the Scheduler. Hope that wasn’t a mistake.

Definitely grab goldeneye charm if you like 1 mag size runs. That things bonus is super strong, and broken strong if you can get your mag all the way down to 1.
Also highly recommend plasma spiraler. It's great. Plays in a whole new way.
Then I'd get the scheduler after that.

That energy blaster tier4 is quite nice. I did consider recommending it, but wanted to recommend goldeneye and plasma spiraler first. I like it on builds where I need to stop firing my main weapon for a while.

There's no 'bad' decisions. It's a game. You try stuff. Trying what you want is always good because playing how someone else tells you to play is too restrictive and can result in burnout. The scheduler will be a fun way to customize your runs, and as I mentioned here: #1301218432037163151 message, the tier 4 energy blaster is quite fun as well.

I'm sorry that I am also not sure what that drone movement pattern is or where to find it.

Is setting all your Banish and Reroll Pods at the start wise?

Yeah, that's how to pretty close to 100% guarantee whatever build you want. You can put them later if you want to try to like banish the tier4 of something when you just wanna stay at the tier3, but that's pretty niche since you can usually just pick other stuff. The beginning is the most valuable time to have control over the augment pool because that's when the pool is the biggest.

Also which gun would you recommend equipping? My failed Resource Gun attempt or what in theory is my DMG Gun but I'm not sure it's too effective at that rolee...

I'm just kind of lost on what to do now because the run where I was going for the Splitserpent Achievement turned out into something insane @austere thistle and as a result, I've got 100% on Steam Achievements and unlocked all the mission-related attachments excluding Follow Nimrods so I'm both overwhelmed and stuck?

This was the gun in question which I have since sold cause it was built with one purpose in mind.

Yeah I kinda expected the multiple achievement completion. Going full armor early game is a whole new way to play that is the ideal way to get several achievements that you may have been not getting before simply because of playstyle. Nah, you don't have to keep that gun. It's roughly on par with your other drone gun, so no regrets.

Speaking of which, do I go with the Pulse Rifle Failed Resource Gun (in my hands anyway, not sure if the drone will give me its resource rate drop bonus if that makes sense?) or to go just stick with the Mini Missile Launcher of Doom.

Resource bonus does not work from drone (since the drone isn't picking stuff up). Resource drop **rate **does work from the drone, since its near the stuff that's dropping. Also drones are bad at stacking tech stacks, since they never stop firing or try to hit a large number of targets with the same shot. Drones are good at dropping credits though. All the ways I can think of that spawn credits on reload or kill or make enemies drop more credits all work on drone.

When I'm going for farming, I put my credit gain gun on the drone (happens to also be the strongest carrying gun I have) and then make a fresh resource gun myself.

Did you look at 3.2 after going to 3.1? The way the genes work is that you destroy something at one location and then it flies off and you pick it up at another location. This took me forever to figure out because the destroyed thing almost always happens off screen and you just spontaneously get the green arrow leading to the gene. Maybe that will help you? Or if you knew all of that already and still can't find it at 3.2 - there's always the chance the location has changed from where it used to be.

Scratch that, coin drop chance is actually #7 (Business acumen). So you won't find it at 3.2 but rather at 7.2 (after destroying the capsule at 7.1)

Skullspike grip used to be unlockable by tanking 10 hits from splitserpent but I don't know if it's still the case

Bee gun explodey mag many bullets would maybe work, if not than explodey mag + bullet hell barrel + the split serpent eggsac trophy + lots of peircing + max rof would get you there at endgame, for all of these you don’t want the damage too high since you want the peircing to hit as many enemies as possible while they are on screen to initiate the most explosions
not a guide, just sounds like it’ll work in my head
