PCl3 (phosphorus + Cl2 gas)
Sodium cyanide (burning methane + ammonia with platinum to get HCN, HCN + NaOH = NaCN)
Acetic acid (fermenation of sugar/methanol + CO + hydrogen iodide)
Sodium ethoxide (ethanol + sodium metal)
Methylamine (2 * formaldehyde + ammonium chloride = methylamine + formic acid)

- Benzaldehyde + NaBH4 = benzyl alcohol (C6H5-CH2-OH),

- Benzyl chloride + NaCN = phenylacetonitrile (C6H5-CH2-CN)
- Phenylacetonitrile + HCl + H2O (heat) = phenylacetic acid (C6H5-CH2-COOH)
- Phenylacetic acid + acetic acid + 2*sodium ethoxide = Phenylacetone (C6H5-CH2-CO-CH3)
- Phenylacetone + methylamine + NaBH4 = methamphetamine
