This is my consept for a mini boss
Extra info:
Grows minable minerals and rocks on its shell (good luck)
Hides in its shell making it invinsible to sonar and hides all claws and the toung/mouth
Can be tipped over making it unable to move (with enough force)
so basically thalamus + latcher
Yeah but theres more creatures
We really need more vanilla monsters, I dream of a day where massive overhaul mods aren't required for baro to be fun, and I think this suggestion is one step closer to that
there needs to be more sea type creatures resembling ones on earth, like giant nautiluses or Colossal squids or angler fish, or even just passive jellyfish that add ambient lighting in various colours
or maybe a vent guardian type creature would be cool
Stealing this ngl
you mean like this suggestions is stealing the consept or are you stealing the consept?
i dont undersand
A crab and king crab like enemy? A lurking Shell creature that blends into the rock?
No no im stealing the concept. Lil crabs that eat you to pieces or maybe a bobbit worm to get the sub once you sink to the sea floor.
I also like this big sea vent fella, maybe he explodes into acid if you land on him.
But yeh there needs to be a reason not to sink
thanks for expanding on my idea from my sleepy state
Ive got several of the other ideas in here already made. Venomous Angler fish, electric jellyfish, and giant Nautilus.
But we need something to end the crew not just sink it in the later Biomes
We are all you got bud. Sorry. Tried to get some of my critters to development but they're not too interested.
honestly it would be fun to have a creature which is just a jelly fish you can enter
you would most likely get trapped and digested but still
Yeah, why focus on making more creatures vanilla when there are mods for it
but you literally said "We really need more vanilla monsters, I dream of a day where massive overhaul mods aren't required for baro to be fun, and I think this suggestion is one step closer to that"
yeah, I was sarcastically stating the dev point of view
with this message
This could also add more functions to the depth charge which would be great
hope that when you can make your own stations. you can setup like a sea-mine field
