A remake of the legendary Typhoon! Featuring admin room with cameras, locked navigation and armory to keep clowns out, fire warnings in chat, cameras in security room and a lot more!. This is a big sub, so you may need 1 Captain, 1-2 Electricians, 1-2 Mechanics, 3-4 Security, 1 Medic and 2-3 assistants. A very fun sub indeed to play with a big group with one imposter. This sub is somewhat balanced, because, even though it has 5 guns, they do not cover the entire sub. So what are you waiting for?

i think the exit signs are a bit overused
they look very nice but oh my god there are wayy too many lol
Brig having one is quite silly, goes for any dead-end room xD I'd also make those signs smaller if you can (on top of removing like at least 1/3rd)
or when 2 of them are within line of sight of each-other
That's a f*ckton of junction boxes, buddy @grim geyser you gotta use relays for lights. Without like 3 engineers this is gonna be a ridiculous sub to fix.
I'd also ditch the cargo crate loaders for a non-attack sub, otherwise makes it quite op to be able to get so much money from cargo missions with an attack sub (ref. "This sub is somewhat balanced")
u may be right...
i agree!
i do use relays for lights and diving lockers
buit
i agree
the dorsal aft electrical is not even needed
i agree
somewhat 😏 but i get ur point, maybe i could put smth else there, crew quarters?
thanks for the feedback and
I'd swap these 2 - I find having crew area off to a side of the sub means it's just a useless buffer room. If it's in the centre, it's on the way to places, and the crew uses it as a gathering area. Also works as a thoroughfare to medbay / recovery area or area for mass casualties in a pinch. I'd swap the large cabinet in there by a set of bunk beds, there are no beds currently in the sub
as for exit signs
i liked them so i overused em but ill make em smaller and
make em like
smaller and ughh hmm
less
ig
only on the main
access shaft or out of the rooms?
instead of normal emerg lights
just keep it to a dozen signs overall at most I'd say. Place them where you think they may be useful, remembering that people aren't goldfish and do know there the room door is so they dont need 1 in every room
hehe
yeah
goldfish crew
i had left door on the reactor room actually
i can show you previous screenshots
the issue is that room being reactor room, or rather the room across above being crew quarters
it's never ever gonna get used unless you force people in there, trust me
missing a gap there I think
i agree, my thought and inspo for this sub was the skeld from amongus, with the cafe in a central area-ish area so its
thats an old screenshot
lemme send a
the latest one
if i find it
like
i made this sub so my group of ppl could
play with one imposter
and we'd gather in the cafe (if the game allowed it lol)
and we didnt get attacked
lol
and talk ab who the imposter is
but yeah ill make the exit signs smaller but
as for cargo crates, hmm
5 guns and
2 unit loaders
is a bit much
but it hides the secret room
buddy you gotta stop pressing 'enter' every 3 words 😂 lines can be longer yk
that's fine, try a post-it on the enter key that says no touchy until enough words 😛
why are you telling me to how to type on discord
😻
advice so you don't clog your thread mostly but feel free to ignore me (it's just pushed everything so far up haha)
thanks
i agree with that
you give good feedback tho!
how should i make the sub more fun to play? more balanced? no cargo crates?
also
i agree, i will remove the top right JBs
they are mostly empty for now, and all my lights/diving suit lockers are on relays
no large crate loaders, just 1 or at most 2 of the 4x crate shelves, because with its large size and 5 guns (despite the blind spots that you mention - all vanilla subs have some) it will make money far too easy to come by from monster missions already so with cargo you may end up floating in $$$
what can i replace cargo room with? to keep it low traffic, but also like dark and secluded so the hidden room is hidden
I find utility rooms with the janitor items
useless but silly
I usually put an invisible cabinet in the janitor cart and leave ethanol and a sprayer for the assistant to clean the puke lol
haha
hmm good idea
actually i didnt know you can clean puke wiht ethanol in a sprayer...
sometimes leaving a bit of empty room in subs is good.
good to know!!
maybe i could put liek a pipe decoration thing a
Means modded items can be placed (e.g. immersive repairs adds a fuel refill station, barocraftables adds a welding table, and then there's the hungry europans with kitchen items I think)
ouuu, yeah, i agree, i kinda want to keep the sub vanilla, while adding mods on top, but immersive reactor refueling station, hmmm, i had a decon chamber in the medbay... but i didnt want the sub's users to be forced to play with any mods
i want to leave it up to them, and leave the options open
absolutely, that's what I mean by leaving some uncluttered / emptyish space with some minmal deco
oh like a
so if the user choses to play with mods, they don't have a rammed sub where they can't add anything to it
open room? can they place stuff there while playing?
some mods have in-game items you can place, a bit like placing logic components
like reactor refueling
okay in that case ill emptyout the cargo room and make it a janitor room for now, and ill add some cleaning stuff in O2 and cafe, and illlll remove top left JBs, bring batteries to electrical, reduce the JBs.
also reduce the amount of emerg exit signs and make em smaller
misc ammo storage? You can also just add some minor deco and spread things out a bit more 🙂
massive subs don't really need the space past a certain point and it becomes a hassle more than an asset for sub builders. If you're finding you're just adding things to rooms because you have too much space, just reshuffle some bits and shrink your sub by reducing your hull shape and volume.
hmm yeah its too late now to make major changes like that, but ill probably shove something in there, same for cargo room maybe some pipes
honestly you can just select and drag entire rooms without major issues
