Within Barotrauma, players violate the Geneva Conventions quite a lot. To an extent that it rivals the sheer heresy that Rimworld players act out within their games. However, I have noticed a lack of a specific armament that would greatly effect player vs. player combat.

What I propose is a shell that delivers a chemical payload from a railgun. Imagine loading up a canister with mustard gas or cyanide and launching it at an enemy vessel. Imagine being within said vessel and you watch in horror as a titanium mass tears through your hull and, upon contact with the interior, it delivers its chemical payload, dumping it into your air.

Its a horrifying aspect but it would be one that should be utilized within our beloved depths of Europa. The damage should also scale with a medic with the plague doctor perk, to help balance it of course.

Nerve gas grenades and weaponry would be very fun, yes

Acid too

Basically have it create clouds like a watcher

Also if we have chemical bombs have them be just that so we load it into a railgun shell or boarding pod

Because nerve agents basically disable your muscle’s ability to receive the stop command so every muscle will simultaneously try to move in both directions

Neurotrauma will have a field day

Instead of making a new post, I will simply add to this one: I believe it would be very useful for players to have access to Railgun munition capable of holding a chemical payload. of course this is useless for creatures of the size of Hammerheads and smaller, but things like Molochs and larger could definitely be useful against. I for one would love to see how a Endworm could handle a few hits of Morbusine and Deliriumine
