Currently if you steal something from the first beginning station, and enter 10 stations later with the stolen items. Somehow they will know you’ll still have it taken back. Honestly I think that’s a really stupid thing and if you steal it and get away, only the station you stole it from should take it back and not the 30 other stations that shouldn’t care or know about a tiny theif

I’ve wanted this for so long, although certain items should have a longer “wanted status” than others. I feel weapons and stuff of that sort would take quite a while for the faction to forget about while screwdrivers will be forgotten after 2 outposts
Associate value to the stolen items
stealing from the first station only to go to the eye and come back to the station and they still remember you stealing the things
penny pinching coalition
I stole Acolyte Robes from one of the first outposts and many outposts later I have Husk with Acolyte and if I tried entering the outpost, they wanted to take their robes back which would've given me husk
Based security
Actually did you know barotrauma is a scifi game and they put microchips in the morphine to track it
Weird. I was sure that stolen items are stolen only in the outpost you stole them from.
I might be spreading misinformation, but I believe that was just when outposts were outposts and not faction affiliated
Yeah that's, how it works???
Odd, maybe my memory isn’t right
> steal item
> next outpost
> it isn't considered stolen
> go back to the outpost u stole it from
> it's considered stolen
Yeaaaaa... Half my inventory cab would be considered stolen at every outpost if what battle engineer said was true.
I only ever see the stolen icon appear when revisiting outposts
