it can pull dead bodies to the player. So I don't see how the reverse would be all that different (technical wise, coding wise I could see it being very different)

I wouldn't change the harpoon. I'd add pitons or something so you're sacrificing an inventory slot for the convenience.

Harpoons are for harpooning!

Just keep holding right click - aim at any structure hull and hold spacebar

It will reel you in

Conversely it will pull lighter enemies like crawlers and Mudraptors if you keep holding aim as well

One of the biggest reasons is that no where in the game does it tell players it does this

So people just pull a still alive mudraptor closer to themselves
