#HMS Victory revived

Pretty neat, ergonomic shape, Straight and understandable, hefty sized and definitively late game powerhouse
I do would say 3 heavy hards is too much considering they are accompanied by 2 smalls wich also considers that the ship has nearly no blinds, but i dont know how everything else was balanced out to make up for them
It's somewhat similar in armament to the Typhon 2 I suppose
Definitely agree, considering the relatively smaller size of the sub, I feel like removing that front double coil would make it a reasonable T3 attack, but anything lower than T3 would make it even more reasonable to remove the backside double coil
Precisely, i think that 2 Heavys in the rear and 2 lights in the front are just about already strong for vanilla T3 standards
Now, if he REALLY wants that railgun, i'd say he could make it spinal
Fair enough
The Typhon 2 only has 4 guns... Ofc, not every sub has to be perfectly balanced or vanilla focused, but still... The Typhon 2 is dumb shit op
Now that you mention, typhoon 2 also barely has blindspots
Though it also dosent have two heavy hardpoitns covering the same perimeter
And while this one has, the trade off is that HMS victory has -1 gun to make up for that, so its not necessarly better than typhoon 2
So yeah, even considering that, HMS is very vanilla balanced
Oh wait, you meant in total? i thought you were talking about heavy hardpoints
I checked and typhoon has 2 heavies and 2 Lights, I thought you meant it had 4 heavies
Nevermind then, In that case HMS would be a straight upgrade from typhoon
I did think it had 4 heavy I guess I was wrong
Still, it has 5 fuckin guns (the Typhon 2)
2 heavy and 3 lights
I mean, in vanilla balance,I don't believe that 2 heavies should ever have equal coverage (be able to hit the same small target) and I don't think a sub anything smaller than the Berilia should have more than 4 guns
That's just me personally
