#Extra junction box connections

*Annoying when developing oversized subs.
A limited amount of connections is kinda the whole point, since you have to actually maintain a bunch of junction boxes instead of wiring everything important through only a couple of them.
Would be nice if we got a few more varied JB's that have more connections, but, introduce some other thing to consider for using them.
I say that, while im literally doing that with my own mod, but hey, its a mod, it doesn't count for the "its on vanilla" standard.
I wouldn't mind that, though if a new junction box type was added, introducing it to vanilla submarines would be a whole another job.
Have the maximum number of connections be a variable on the pin/machine.
The nuclear reactor can only have a single wire on its Power output pin already.
I'm more maddened that there is 4 pins for signals in junction boxes that no one uses
Relays are better
I have a better idea, Junction Hubs, they have like 5 different power pins
Maybe one power in and 5 power outs
Just, why? JBs are perfect already, why would you want to replace them? Or change them
This is a different one, so you can like connect the reactor to more JBs
Don't you think reactor being able to connect to only 1 jb is intentional?
No
Think again
Still no
You forgot to turn on your brain
Restart it then
No need
The reactor pin actually used to support up to.. like 2-5 connections iirc, then they made it come down to 1. All it meant was for the old subs people put a JB next to it and wired through that.
Fwiw this part is somewhat consistent with real life electrical structure, source input goes to a main distribution box and branches out to subpanels from there. Other than the whole daisy chaining the main line through them all bit some subs have, which isn't a thing
