Simply reintroduce it again but just have it as a separated keybind that could be disabled. That way people that wanted it can have it back and those that don't can just not enable it, everyone happy

For those wondering in the beta at some point they added so you could turn from passive to active sonar by pressing shift to toggle it and apparently it got removed cuz some people complained about it

I have a feeling it'd push people even more towards melee builds and weapons that don't need to reload much, such as the HMG and RFA.

As for the sonar toggle bind, Shift is a weird key for it, but as a customizable key it'd work just fine.

There is already a reload button sort of, just need to put mag in inventory slot and press the hotkey button for that slot

Other than that, yes, barotrauma does need more keybinds, for repairing, dropping, some other ui thing like the sonar toggling we are talking about

non-topic, but i also would want to have fullscreen uis, don't like that sonar or reactor ui are not fullscreen, because there is some hotkeys for them and if you don't mouse over the ui, then they are not working
