Plus servers can ban people
Or you can just make the server password protected, so randoms cannot join
A universal "wall of shame" is an AWFUL idea
Hosts are wildly incompetent, players misunderstand and call legitimate players griefers
Griefer can just talk out their ass and say "X griefed my server ban he" and who's gonna disagree? You can't prove someone didn't grief
God forbid a victim of the wall of shame tries to defend themselves
Then an hour long argument starts, and for what? So that some guy doesn't get prevented from playing a game they paid money for already?
Along with the fact that rules on servers vary
One serious host may say Y broke our rules ban he from your server too
When that could be perfectly acceptable on a casual server
Sharing banlists in this fashion for any server that isn't hosted by a group (ie, same rules, gameplay but different hosts) is awful and promotes gating people out of communities for little reason
Terrible idea which can be abused
Especially since there're already mechanics which prevents unwanted people to join
Idea is quite horrible and been attempted before by some communities (those communities dont exist anymore)
LOL
They went the way of the dodo
Hosts can be different to such points where 1 host gonna say this guy is amazing
Another gonna say this guy is racist and bad person overall
@rain dawn you are being way too quite after 4 people said you made a terrable suggestion
I was playing with this one guy called panman and he was very stinky
I think you should ban him if you see him on your server
Did he yeet pans at you?
LOL
As they arent in vanilla
Skill issue
Stinky hacker man
You guys are right bad idea
