Doesn't really fit into barotrauma, so gonna have to disagree.
Not to mention that it would be more useless, the more realistic you would make it. Unlike other guns, a flintlock getting wet will result in you being unable to fire. Modern fire arms don't have this problem because their ignition doesn't require oxygen and is localized inside of a casing... doesn't make sense why flintlocks would even be on Europa in the first place as any fire arm is simply better... and the higher ammo capacity and faster reload simply out-weighs the potentially cheaper ammo of a flint lock...
this tbh, doesn't fit the theme, doesn't have a niche besides "it sucks lol"
Devils advocate; this could be made into a fun gimmicky weapon, which is easy to learn, but hard to master, how? :
Make it so that you can overload the musket.
Too little powder? Minimum damage!
Medium powder? Decent damage!
A lot of powder? Hella damage!
Too much powder? Fragmentary Explosion! After which you are probably dead, or dying - but then so is your target(hopefully!) xD
overly complex and how are you going to communicate that to the player?
Isn’t scrap cannon a blunderbuss?
Easy! Tooltips!
Those who refuse to read them eliminate themselves by natural selection.
