Mount tribeč (pronounced Tribech) is a mountain range in in western slovakia in the inner western carpathians. Slovakia is a small country in central europe. This place is often referred to as Slovak Bermuda Triangle since many people who go to this place suddenly go missing and are never found again or they are found dead. The first case is in 18-19th century where 8 merchants went missing and were found dead with deep cuts on their body and broken bones. It wasn't a robbery since it didn't seem like anything was actually stolen. One of the most famous cases is about Walter Fischer, who went to this place and went missing. But he was found many months later and alive but he was unconsciousness and with a burn marks all over his body including his face. He was disoriented and he spent all his life in mental institution. These are just one of many cases of mysterious disappearences in Mount Tribeč. There also exist a movie called The Rift which was inspired by a book by Jozef Karik that is about Mount Tribeč.
