I've gone there before and i saw all the pipes they use to gwt smoke out of the mines. The ghost town creeped me out a bit though because I walked on the old sidewalks and imagined what it was like to live there before and during the event.

I've driven through there and walked down the closed road before. The town is mostly abandoned now and the roads have a lot of graffiti. I think VOX did a story on it too where they interviewed the people that chose not to leave even though they were ordered to by the government.

At first, the govt offered money for people to move away, but then after awhile made it abandoned.
