When I was around 6, my sister and I went to my cousin's place on the coast. We were hanging out with a group of kids outside at night on the sand dunes. Someone decided we should have a seance. We all sat in a circle and for some reason it was decided that everyone should take off their shoes and put them in the middle of the circle. After attempting to contact spirits without any success, we all went to put our shoes back on and there was one shoe MISSING! dundundun Ofc we all freaked out and as a 6 year old, it was the most scary yet exciting thing ever! Turns out, one of my cousins hid someone's shoe 🤣 🤣

The ouija board! I've had some spooky conversations but never any that didn't end up being someone moving the planchette to scare the group 😂

I nearly had a heart attack one day when my completely stationary water glass randomly decided to move itself, spinning and sliding, across the table. After a few tries to replicate this, we figured out that no, it wasn’t a thirsty ghost, it was condensation…

My family was living in a small house in West Virgina. My husband doesn't believe in the paranormal, at all, and just tries to ignore everything that's weird. One night, my husband and I were laying in bed and he had already gone to sleep, while I'm scrolling on my phone, when suddenly our bedroom door slams shut on its own! I freak out and wake him to tell him what happened. He sleepily replies "it's probably just the wind" and falls back to sleep. I'm terrified thinking there's a ghost in my house when I remembered I left my kitchen window opened!! So it was just the wind! I excitedly woke up my husband to tell him the great news and he says "oh thank God! I was so scared!!" 😆

Another story! My husband was deployed and I was home alone with my 5 week old baby. I was in bed, about to go to sleep when my bed starts shaking like something jumped on it. I look around for my cat, but my bedroom door is closed and she's not in my room. I look at my baby and she's sound asleep. I immediately thought a ghost sat down on my bed. So, a little shaken up, I go on my phone to take my mind off of it only to come across a bunch of news articles saying there was a small earthquake. In my defense, this was in South Carolina where earthquakes don't happen often.

Idk if this counts but when I was a kid the mixer somehow fell off the counter and smashed on the ground, most likely due to vibrations but try exsplaning that to a kid
