#Flutter app too slow after shorebird patch
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Patching android should have no effect on performance.
Patching iOS can sometimes effect performance. We’re working on reducing how often it does. https://docs.shorebird.com/status.
If you’re seeing performance changes on Android that’s surprising (and concerning) and we would love to learn more.
I apologize for the confusion. Upon further inspection, there is no slowdown issue on Android. However, I noticed that the Icon widget is not displayed correctly on both iOS and Android. I will review the documentation for iOS further. Thank you.
shorebird release ios -- --no-tree-shake-icons
that should fix the icons

Thank you for your reply, aos is OK after the patch update but ios is too slow for us to use. We really need to apply shorebird for ios as well (which will be a gamechanger) do you have any idea or expectation when ios issue will be solved? Also any type of advice for us to solve...(hint or general cause)
