Discuss how this normal card would be placed into the tier list! Assuming how easily it can be used in general or placed into a deck. Factors which contribute to this include offense, (poking/piercing, flanking, winning clashes) defense, (blocking, establishing routes, map control/occupying space) openings, (meaning its played on the 1st turn) special building, (combo ability, how easy is it to activate the card's special point) special attacks, (this can be considered for all aspects of the match which is early/mid/endgame) its ability to be played at any time, (wont be a brick/unusable past a specific point) and finally the niche situations that it would be usable in if thats applicable. Which is described in the voting channel. (Note that every map is considered in discussions except for Box Seats)

this card is fun. its main niche is self-charging special off corners without being too bulky. my main issue with this card is the diagonal "tail". while it can be useful for poking, it won't get the job done very well because it's still a relatively short card. this is where range blaster opts to sacrifice some base building efficiency for offensive usage. self-charging still great though, especially for very large decks that can't set up combos as reliably.

I think this is a nice card, both this and Range Blaster are some of my favorite cards and I do think there not bad by any means. Blaster can be used as a makeshift octostamp for gaining special and for certain maps like river and lakefront you can can place it off to the side of your special block you start with and place it into the corner gaining a free special and a bit of paint, and for lakefront splitting your two sides to maybe stop an invasion of you base from going on. And it can be used to just move into your enemies base to with it being decently thin, and it can combo with many cards like Dynamo and Hydra to get special to name a few, I do really think this card should be at least B tier, A tier is what I personally think.

But one of the few things I don't like about it is the weird "tail" block sticking out from the back. It can ruin some combos from time to time and in general it doesn't do anything good, this is not as much of a problem for Range Blaster because it focuses more on being aggressive rather then building special, it really is the only major weakness it has and it can screw you over sometimes but I don't think that alone breaks it's from being high tier.

Damn I said a lot of words there, I guess I have a strong opinion on this card (probably because it's one of my favorites)

WAIT UNTIL WE GET TO RANGE BLASTER I'll be writing an essay at that point explaining why that card is good

top tier card that everyone is sleeping on, every generic deck should be running this next to Lil' Judd. if I wasn't going to an appointment in 15 minutes I'd go hogwild.

this is my personal Trip Strike.

Okay look. This is one of them cards where it's gonna be a real pain in the backside in the wrong deck and an absolute gem in the right one. It's not going to be a 9 or 10 for me because of that BUT it is by no means a bad card despite not being a "can work anywhere". The diagonal tail is both its strength and its weakness. In decks with too many long straight pieces it will really be a hindrance, and if there's not a single card that needs that diagonal to activate I do have to wonder if you might have better options, but if you have a nice array of comboable cards I've seen it be the combo King of people's decks
It has the nice little square hole formed by the diagonal and its square section and also the l shape formed by the handle which are both useful to activate specials.

Ok it’s a 7-8/10 for me

In my experience, it’s often just a better octo stamp, and has many other useful properties
