Just saw that this works with remix now (and didn't have a remix-projects thread) thanks to this: https://github.com/sambow23/dxvk-remix-gmod/releases/tag/a8192ec-shdr which injects a fake camera into the game to force remix to work.
Seems to work decently well, albeit kinda janky.
