Laptop or PC?
I don't think there is EVGA branded laptop gpus
It might be a good idea to upload the logs (hl2_d3d9.log, d3d9.log, .trex\NvRemixBridge.log)
we live in crazy times dude everything is possible when it comes to hardware mods ;D
Huh [04:21:07.455] warn: Still waiting on the Present semaphore to be released...
I guess thats a dead lock. I searched for the error but seems like its not something you would come across in Portal RTX.
Try these in .trex\bridge.conf individually
threadSafetyPolicy = 2
presentSemaphoreMaxFrames = 0-255 try some high number like 200, it is currently 1 in your config
presentSemaphoreEnabled = False if none works try this
Also open an issue in the rtx-remix repo with the logs and all the details, this is not something you should need to do at least in the Portal & Prelude.
@vagrant nimbus sorry for the ping, do you have any updates on this?
sorry i didn't see the last message, forgot i had made this post lol, i'll try that stuff now
none of these seem to make any difference
actually setting presentSemaphoreEnabled = False does crash it
also made an issue here

logs for this
Thats kinda expected, it is likely throwing off access violation by blowing its leg off

yes just wanted to remind you😄
oh no
i also bought a new gpu earlier today, wonder if that magically fixes it lol
probably not
for portal rtx?
any rtx remix usage
does portal rtx uses normal rtx runtime builds? try a newer version and see if it works🧐(haven't tried portal or portal rtx remix)
might try tomorrow
me too, that's why i paid for a rtx card😄
