Unable to add lights to textures

Game is Iron Storm. When I select a texture to add a light to, it does nothing.

this happens before and after completely reinstalling rtx remix and the game itself

using the latest build

Don't think so. I tried several more objects than what's in that video like the table and computer and nothing. In the light statistic options it also isn't showing that any more lights are being added

yeah same thing unfortunately

I'm curious if it's a graphics setting as the games graphics menu is not very useful and the config file for the game is pretty useless as well

in freedom fighters i had the same issue strangely enough setting in game shadow quality to max unlocked adding lights to textures X)

These are the only graphics settings lol. Config file didn't add much
