So let's discuss and collect all settings for Morrowind in this thread and not in the whole discord.

Simple setup to run Morrowind with RTX Remix

  1. Download and install Morrowind (GOG / Steam)
  2. Unpack the latest rtx remix release in the main folder https://github.com/NVIDIAGameWorks/rtx-remix/releases
  3. Unpack dxwrapper_dx8.7z in the main folder https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1055002970091176006/1096142373609811978/dxwrapper_dx8.7z
  4. Add rtx.conf file to the main folder. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1028600697463263314/1096304361824587796/rtx.conf
  5. Set the game into windowed mode.
  6. Launch the game.
  7. Use Alt + X to open Remix Overlay

This is my dxwrapper.ini file which will force windowed mode, this ended up being the only way I could open the game as the windowed mode setting was being ignored.

This is my conf file so far; I've only marked a handful of water textures, most UI, and one loading screen as well as the sky. I also added lights to one lantern but it needs more tuning before it'll look good.

Unfortunately I don't have a way to take screenshots as in-game BMPs turn up blank and the print-screen key is apparently taken over by the game. I'll set up a better screenshot method later.

Works in that I can get to the start, but insta crash when trying to leave the ship. Also, anyway known to get the cursor to work when in alt+x mode? I can see where it hovers over but it's not visible and a pain.
