Am not at my desk right now but if you tried any translation file with single quote and try to autocomplete nothing happens the same with html and php functions fyi
Am using phpstorm

Rolling back to 2.6.1 works normally

so is this only for non-english languages? Does normal autocomplete work for you?

yes, I have tried PHPStorm as well. Seems to be regression on translations/non-english languages.

Hope it will be fixed soon, since windsurf is the top ai coding plugin for JB for now, hope to keep it that way

It could potentially be linked to class files, I could get some autocomplete results in plain PHP and HTML files

earlier today it did pop up some suggestions in a view file I was editing, but after installing 2.6.2 again to grab that recording, it wasn't showing suggestions in any file or project

yeah, doesn't show any suggestions - whether you try to manually trigger it or wait for it to auto-suggest

PhpStorm 2025.2 Build #PS-252.23892.419, built on August 2, 2025
projects use a mix of SCSS, vanilla JS, and PHP 8.3 - autocomplete broken for all files (.php, .html, .js, .scss, readme.md, etc.)
