#how is codenium different from copilot

thanks
so this makes me think that codenium is better even if copilot was free to use
isn't it too good to be true
It kinda is, but in the end only time will tell if their current business plan will work out
I hope it does, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't for one reason or another
I think it will, with Free + Pro + Team + Enterprise there will be enough granularity
I got free copilot subscription , with my student id , so I was wondering if its gonna be worth it
Well then both are free... so I guess try out both and see which one fits you better
The only difference I think would be that copilot free runs out when you stop being a student, while codeium free forever... or at least until something happens
I have seen a feature to rectify code in copilot , is it in codenium where it reads and corrects the code?
Like a corporate buyout or something, like what always happens lol
Never used copilot so I don't know how it does things... but I do know codeium has an option to "improve" code you point it to
Can't remember what it's called off the top of my head tho
yah , i will be a student like next 5 to 6 years but dont think they woill provide free to students for long tho
hmm i see , i will test it out
Nah... they will probably provide free for students forever
Microsoft always had a thing for student lock-in
Well if you go by what's on their site codeium is supposedly better than copilot
yah exactly
Which I'm like to believe... copilot have had several issues with doing dumb things and injecting GPL code and things like that
oh
Since codeium was made later I imagine they intentionally avoided those pitfalls
