#Cant get collisionLayer to work

apologies for the delayed response, setting the layer mask to the same layer as the wall didnt seem to help
I have the same problem, but only when aiming up. It works when aiming down like in the photo.
interesting, you get it working when aiming down?
Yes, for me the 2 poses system was always quite clunky and the checkbox if you want to use the second one didn't seem to do anything, but It always worked so I didn't mind. Yesterday I did the setup for another character and it only works for the bottom half.
gotcha, so its janky to begin with, i guess its not worth my time right now as im pretty far from any of that mattering right now
got my head jammed into networking for now
I found the source of my problem: The raycast wasn't facing forward, but up from the weapon. I'm not able to make the raycast visible like in the video tutorial, so it took some time to figure out. Therefeore, when looking down the raycast was hitting the wall. When standing with a wall to my back and aiming completely up, the pose would change too, that's how I figured it out.
this is what it looked like for me
Doesn't solve your problem, but you could maybe check if the rycast isn't facing backwards or something like that?
