I attempted to follow the other post mentioning this but my case is a bit different I couldn't get it working. I had everything setup right and accurately, but the animation blueprint part is giving me a run for my money. Ok i kinda got it working somewhat, but when I get to 8:59 of the video and I calc the WeaponOffset, it puts the weapon behind me. Not sure where's it's trying to find this PivotPoint at.
You can ignore the weapon offset part entirely. Just use a CopyBone node to copy the data from the hand_r to the VB WeaponPivot
