This originally started with just being an adjustment to the anti-fighter turret info, adding a "turret type" for a more punchy, at-a-glance idea of whether regular or agile fighters would be best. But then I ended up doing a mock up of a complete overhaul of the Capital Ship info in Sector Data because I personally found the stats a bit annoying to read.
For example, if you looked at a ship with torpedos, info about the capital's weapon systems are separated into three different spots. Turret near the top, torpedo near the middle, and the system health at the bottom.
The idea is to have the "cores" separated separated into mini-categories with the relevant information grouped together. It leaves the relevant data grouped together as "Weapon Platform", "Defensive Plating", "Utility System", and "Untargetable" in a consistent manner. The only info not included in the system categories is drops so that all drops could be grouped together at the bottom.
I used S122 as my example but added in barriers and support weapons for an idea of how those untargetable systems could look.
