#Sleeves to Next Mastery Calculation Bug

@iron furnace it's based on the "mastery gained this sleeve" stat which is added up everytime they level. So it goes weird if you change mastery bonuses during. If you reprint him, then look at the auto settings things will make sense again.
I've encountered this too with optimizing based on mastery progress setting the number to reprint higher that it had reached that sleeve.
I gave up trying to figure out what the number actually meant. For my recent run to M4s I just ended up putting the numbers in that worked. For example, when my levels were at about 3000 (2200 for primary, 800 for secondary) the number I needed to put in there was around 11000 or 12000.
I encountered the same issue and its bugging me for quite a while. It seems to be a visualization/calculation error of your master progress this sleeve if the primary/secondary stat levels are setting a new record.
These are my stats.
My Reconstituation Specialist still needs (5e6-1,64e5) = 4,836e6 Mastery Points to M5.
My progress this sleeve is apparently 59354,46 and it says i need 64 sleeves which would net me only 3,799e6 mastery points --> not enough
However the button "Optimize Based on Mastery Progress This Sleeve" tells me i need 75320 mastery points per sleeve, which would be in the correct range of 4,82e6 mastery points.
One reprint got me to 2.35e5/5e6 progress which is already 71000 mastery progress so pretty sure the mastery progress this sleeve shows the wrong number if you have reached a new highest primary/secondary stat
Did you gain any of the "mastery gain" stat in between?
or equip/unequip the mastery module
either way, the mastery progress is tracking how much mastery you got. So if half the levels had mastery module equipped, then half didn't, it's going to throw weird results
is there a reason it tracks it instead of just saying "current mastery gain * stat levels"?
that would just be off in a different way
if you gained mastery or swapped it on, the number is higher then your current progress this sleeve, so it still wont do a reprint
you mean the initial check? Like you set the amount hit "enable" and then it does nothing because you've earned (far) less than that amount this sleeve?
I guess it reprinting when you hit "enable" wouldn't work if someone set that number high
actually, why track it at all for the auto reprint? Would there be a problem if it just reprinted whenever (current mastery * stat levels) > target mastery
oh you could be off by one sleeve? hmm
