#Excess energy from void spots should be buffered for a few moments

When collecting a void spot fills your reactor to capacity, the remainder is wasted -- this makes it take ages to purchase upgrades that have costs very close to your maximum capacity, when the only way to really get that close is through void spots.

In the idle game Machinery, there's a very similar concept with the generators going "overcharge" and dumping a huge pile of energy all at once. However, if that energy exceeds your storage capacity (and it usually does), the excess is buffered for a few seconds, giving you a chance to buy all the upgrades possible with the amount of energy.

There used to be a bug-ish thing where it just overfilled past your cap anyways. Maybe I'll just unfix that

In a sense, this whole request is asking to subvert void max, which is already one of the less "important" stats to invest in, I don't know if we want to make that stat even more irrelevant

having your void energy amount exceed the max would let people cheese upgrades, but that's not what I'm talking about here

The 'overcharge' would basically go into a separate buffer[variable] (which could be e.g. cleared after 20 or 30 seconds. and maybe each spatial anomaly overwrites the buffer.)

When buying an upgrade, it would deduct from your reactor stores, but then immediately be replenished from any available overcharge.

You wouldn't be able to buy an upgrade that costs more than your reactor cap this way.
But if you have, say, three upgrades that are extremely close to your cap, you might be able to buy all three with the energy gained from one spatial anomaly.

I was referring to the bug he suggested un-fixing
