Hi I'm new to Vanilla OS, just moved over from Windows 11 where I was using ProtonVPN.

I know there is non official version in Flathub but I wanted to install from the ProtonVPN site.

I followed the instructions and it all seemed to download and install without any errors but it dose not show up as an app and can't be found.

Please can someone help, I 'm obviously doing something wrong.

Thanks

I'm using the Flatpak, as it just works.
If you want to use the Debian package it won't work in your default container (vso-pico), and it won't run without a custom image: https://github.com/Vanilla-OS/custom-image
To set this up you'd have to copy each step they suggest in their article (https://protonvpn.com/support/official-linux-vpn-debian/) into one step in the recipe.
Alternatively you could also look into these options they suggest:
https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-openvpn/
https://protonvpn.com/support/wireguard-linux/
but I haven't so far had any luck getting WireGuard to run either (probably just a skill issue)

Just installed it through the app store (via flatpak), it works for me yesterday.
