Hey, I just installed VanillaOS and I would like to know how to install icon themes/move an icon theme folder to /usr/share/icons. Using: sudo cp -r /home/redberri/Downloads/icon-theme /usr/share/icons excutes fine but doesn't do anything.

That's because you're in your vso-pico, which is a distrobox environment separate from your host.
Not sure if /usr/share is write-accessible, but you can try to exit vso-pico with host-shell then use pkexec instead of sudo

Please use ~/.local/share instead of /usr/share
That way it will work across all environments for your user.
