I reinstalled Orchid today and everything with my NVIDIA card (GTX 980 Ti) seemed to work. NVENC even seemed to work, unlike my previous day one install. However, I wanted to install Pano v23-alpha2, and I needed dependencies. So I installed the dependencies on the host, did abroot upgrade, restarted, and it seemed to work fine. Then I tried to play Minecraft, but I got a GLFW error. Turned out to be an NVIDIA Flatpak issue, remembered the proprietary image had the 555 drivers, but Flatpaks used the 560 driver. So I installed the Flatpak 555 driver, and now Minecraft worked. But now NVENC no longer works, and I don't really know how to get it back.
#NVENC stopped working on Flatpaks

I saw that you posted on my recent issue about something similar
very odd that Minecraft doesn't work on 560 on your machine, on mine it runs fine
Should 900 series use the proprietary image or the open one?
It actually worked fine before I installed dependencies on the host so it probably had something to do with the abroot upgrade
Proprietary, the open drivers are for RTX cards only
ah
in that case I have no clue on how to fix it sadly
there are still some fixes going around for Nvidia cards so maybe another update might fix it at some point
but thats not really a solution
nvidia drivers got downgraded in the new image and now the issue is fixed lmao
Noice
