Why is there no negative prompting at the global image level, yet with regional prompts on a specific area there is an option?

Also, at first glance, seems like the negative prompt node can be added to workflows. But haven't tried hooking it up yet.

Anyone shed some light? Especially on the canvas, considering it works in regionals before some blanket "flux doesn't support it"

It can be added in workflows, but it is a hack that comes at the expense of 2x performance hit because it uses CFG (not part of base flux)

So same performance hit if using negative regional prompts on flux on the canvas?

I am hesitant to believe that the negative regional prompts on flux actually do anything.

Might be a visual bug that it's available - i.e., you see it, but it's not actually wired up in the workflow.
