I just tried out invoke ai 3.0 and multiple times I didnt notice that after doing an img2img run and going back to txt2img the size settings did not reset. I would prefer different settings that I dont have to set everytime I go back and forth.

What about the rest of the settings? Should they be independent?
I’ve considered separating only size and also all of the settings, but opted to hold off on changes like this until we got 3.0 out the door

Slightly related, but a way of saving settings as a preset and restoring them with a menu would be handy.

You are right the rest should also be kind of fixed to the task, or maybe a checkbox for locking settings. I pretty much always use the same scheduler and cfg so I don't notice that these are not independent aswell. Presets would always be helpful. I love the quick way of changing between wide, portrait and square with that tabbar
