being a furry is just being a fan of anthropomorphic animals, like in Zootopia or Bugs Bunny or Bluey or, usually, just whatever original characters they make
yeah it can be sexual but usually its nonsexual, and as soon as the sexual side touches any characters non-anthro (usually called feral in the furry fandom) or real animals, then its not being a furry anymore, its being a zoophile, which isnt accepted in the fandom
its actually pretty common for furries to be the ones calling out zoophiles/zoosadists/animal abusers/etc found hiding within the fandom
