i really loved todays question of the day because it made me realize / remember about the fact that if it wasn’t for music videos my music journey could have been so different

now i’m not that ancient but except the radio like on car journey etc, my entryway into music was youtube.
so many hours/ afternoons after school on the computer with not much supervision while my parents worked in their studio and i’d just be mostly on youtube watching music videos and then at home there was the mtv music channel i’d just listen and watch for hours. and this was all before i was allowed to buy cds (vinyls didn’t make a comeback till recent times)

i just finished updating the spreadsheet i made yesterday finally organizing the “albums of 2024” data i’ve been gathering

basically this year i was really curious to know what first listen i’d have so i started creating a playlist on spotify and every time i was sure i was listening an album for the first time i would add it there. i did kinda screwup and missed some but luckily i was also doing another system taking a screenshot of the album for most times
