#Enable 4 audio track rows with a single audio track

WHAT: Instead of only 1 accessible row per audio track, it would be great if all 4 rows were enabled with when selecting an audio track. This would allow for up to 4 clips to be played simultaneously. Different scenes in session view could be different combinations of audio clips playing together. When exporting to Ableton Live, this track of 4 rows can be treated as an Audio Group of 4 audio tracks.

WHY: It would truly maximize the potential of the Ableton Move while still only having "4 tracks" based on the Move buttons. As of right now the Audio Track is an amazing feature but significantly limits the ability to add sounds to a production when it can only play 1 clip. Opening up 4 clips to be played simultaneously could add some serious composition elements to the Move!

I think this suggestion makes perfect sense on the Move interface and in the translation to Ableton Live. 👍

Suggestion:

If OPs Version is too processor intensive then then the audio clips could be „frozen“ like in live to offload the warping off the processor momentarily. The clip freezing could be a nice feature for other stuff as well because it basically enables an easy way to „resample“.

haha I don't know how that could be possible, given that it has nothing to do with Ableton Live's architecture...so I'm not getting my hopes up
but I'm voting for it anyway 😅 because it would be an obvious way to have way more than 4 tracks on Move! ( 😈 )

(just to be clear: when I say that I don't see how this could be possible, I mean in terms of the structure of a "set" and its compatibility with Ableton Live.
Because in terms of capacity, I think the Move can handle it very well since it's supposed to handle up to 64 samples simultaneously...)

For this to work with Ableton’s architecture, it could just be that an audio track on Move is actually a group track containing 4 audio tracks. Effects would be on the group track.

I wonder if the warping or effects are more processor intensive. If it’s the effects then maybe this has legs. If warping takes very much processing then this idea is cooked.
