Since updating to the new version, im no longer able to add long AIF files to my projects without the program crashing or just not loading it. Im on an MBP with M1 Max and 64gb of ram, Tahoe 26.1. My laptop is more than capable and I never had issues doing this with the previous version.

Ive only tried longer ones (DJ Sets) but yeah, it doesnt let me import any of them.

To Ableton's credit, I tried on Ableton 11 (old faithful workhorse) and it also did the same. Its definitely an issue w Tahoe.
The issue is I usually use ableton to convert files to other formats. let me try dragging an mp3

I just converted and MP3 seems to work
.wav is giving me the same issues.
