#Quantization per pad / note instead of the whole clip

This is something possible even on Push. You just hold a pad and press Quantize. I tried that on Move and it does't work. Should be easy to add?

The use case is simple: I want my kick, for instance, to be super tight and on the grid, so I'd hold "kick" pad and quantize that lane, but I want other drum hits to be more "alive", so I won't quantize them or quantize with lower settings.

Yeah, TE's non-destructive quantization is pure gold, I love how it's working on OP-Z as well, you can just dial quantization back and forth without baking it. I doubt it's possible on Move, there's just no such feature in Ableton itself 😬

That would be fantastic 😍

I agree, this would be fantastic. It would also line up with a feature that can be done in Ableton Live/Push.

The lack of per-pad quantisation was also one of Gabe Miller's main gripes.

I demo the Ableton Move for the first time. Chaos ensues.

I really hope they add that soon

I understand where Gabe is coming from, as I too wasn’t 100% sold on Move when I first bought it and have a few niggles with it.
I haven’t finished watching his video yet, but I noted that he wasn’t using the absolute star of the Move workflow, namely capture.
I think in the next few weeks, at least this is my prediction, we’ll see much more positive feedback from Gabe about Move. As this is how I feel, especially coming from the same place as Gabe. With us both being heavy Novation Circuit users.

In addition to allowing Move users the possibility of selecting an independent quantize value for each drum pads (rather than for the whole drum rack/track), I would add to this MUST FEATURE requests and wishes the possibility of setting a quantize value for one or multiple steps in a sequence (along with the existing nudge parameter).
