Would like to see an official 'Ableton Move Hardshell Travel Case' where the Move fits perfectly snug in it. The case should be able to hold everything that comes with the Move (power adapter / cable, USB-C cable), plus a bit more room for additional cables (USB-A, audio). Maybe a little extra room for the 'Move Decksaver' to fit on top of the Move inside, that is, if one is made available.

FYI - I sent an email to Decksaver. They say they are on it and they are "Hoping to launch it for early December."

ANALOG CASES SSL 12 Case does NOT work. It is too tight in the corner even thought specs looked right.
I’m using the Akai MPK mini case which is fine but a little big & thick. Something more low profile would be great
This one is pretty much perfect:

I prefer this one, it also fits perfectly: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CHV9D61Q?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
I would still buy the official one i think 🤣
does that case fit the power supply in the top section?
Looks like it does: https://www.elektronauts.com/t/ableton-move-user-thread/221204/1300

Here’s my case. Has two straps which surprisingly fit perfectly between the Move’s knobs to keep it in place. Plenty of room in top half for charger, cables etc. Was only £21 from Amazon Geekria 75% Keyboard Case, Hard… Geekria 75% Keyboard Case, Hard Shell Travel Carrying Bag for 84 Key Portable Gaming Keyboard, Compatible with Keychron ...
Id probably try that one, the one i got, the power fits underneath the tray & its not flush when the power it packed there
still fits, just not as elegantly as the one above appears
I went for it! Thanks for the recommendation https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGd8bcJR6/
Bumping this one up to show support.. I really want something that's going to protect the knobs (eg foam inserts that fit snugly around).
As a stretch goal, what about low profile knobs? I don't know how the touch sensitivity works , is it just metal/electrically conductive shaft or is there some special connector pads/pins 🤔?
I want an official case so much! Please make it real. I know Decksaver is working on a cover for December, but i want to bring my Move around in a safer way and only Ableton can arrange this.
I've found the perfect solution, waiting for an official solution
Please include room fro a microphone and cable for easier sampling in the field!
Agree. I love low profile cases made for a specific piece of gear, but I also want room for a cable and maybe small accessory. My original OP-1 had a cool case with a removable accessory pouch.
Here is a comparision of three cases from Amazon: https://www.elektronauts.com/t/ableton-move-user-thread/221204/1651

Today I was able to compare three cases from Amazon Germany (they are available in other countries too). The most important thing: The Move fits well in all three cases. 1.) It’s the most expensive … but the protection with the one big strap seems better to me than the two straps at #2: The outer color is something between dark grey and black....
I have the one with the two velcro straps here, but I will send it back, since It does not protect the surface and knobs from getting scratched by a cable stored in the top mesh pocket. If there will be an original case, I would highly recommend having a protective layer over Move like the other two keyboard cases.
I also like to see something like a "rugged case" like those for smartphones and tablets, because Move has some sharp edges that can be uncomfortable to hold when on the couch 🙂
Oooh yes I want this! With a nice little pocket, with straps for holding cables. Personally I also want a shoulder strap.
And since the Steam Deck case is so well designed, I'd love a Velcro closure over zippers, like theirs. (It's the perfect case)
Hiii id just rather prefer to buy an official one with the move itself so it would be included in the purchase of the move... like many other instruments do - whith them you get the case and all the peripherals out of the box. Would be so great to see ableton do it. (Cause i think they are able to(n) do it 😉 😅 😆 )
