Tree Stashes are characterized by trees that look a bit different than others you see on valley, with Red Leaves, a wider trunk, and a hole in the center of said trunk. They also make a chirping/chittering noise when nearby so keep an ear out and look for the red leaves

Drift Bottles can be found along the southern beach of valley, in the sand or washed up against rocks on the shore, I don't think there's anywhere else they can spawn so just run along the beach and keep an eye out

Homing pigeons can be found in more than a few spots around the map just flying around in circles and making a cooing noise, and to loot them you gotta shoot them out of the air first. I know they usually spawn near the southernmost part of the villa that has that little shack with the safe in it, as well as the muddy area in the east

Sounds pretty basic, but if you want to start making money you gotta stop losing money, I'd recommend running less risky yet still effective gear and focusing on preserving your profits, that way you minimize your losses in case you die while hopefully earning quite a bit of profit to start building up on your Koen balance and storage value.

I'd also recommend doing other things like participating in events, trading with Deke Vinson, doing seasonal missions and the normal missions, etc. as they're also great ways to earn quite a bit of koen

The most important thing to remember when you are just starting is to never bring in anything that you aren't prepared to lose because there is a good chance you won't survive while you're still learning the maps and mechanics.
Luck is a major factor but try to make smart choices at all times and never assume you are safe until you extract.
Try not to get greedy when you loot, surviving the raid is always the primary objective. Sometimes the best fight is the one you can avoid.
Covert is a great free way to learn the game, there is no downside to playing as much covert as you can stand.
look at dying as a learning opportunity and reflect on what you could have done better to prevent repeating the same mistakes over and over

I think I’ve discovered the reason for my issue, to clear up storage, I had sold a bunch of stuff when the week started, thus reaching my weekly sell limit. I wanted to keep playing, so I kept exchanging in the contact traders and playing coverts just to store the loot in my inventory to sell next week. Apparently, (from what I understand,) I got flagged for this “stockpiling”. I only come to this conclusion because on the penalty section of customer support it recommends that I sell items directly after the completion of a raid. (Attached are the items I believe caused the problem and the customer support page I referenced.) I get that it is probably just a fault in the system, but I expect the support team to remedy this. I hope that I have proved myself innocent of any wrongdoing, and I wish to continue playing the game. Thanks!
